LOL!
The *4* Horsemen of the Apocalypse are named, by convention, as Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. The Bible only actually names Death. So I'd say he came 1st, with rather short odds.

I dunno bout the 3 horsemen, but the 4 horsemen are:
The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are mentioned in the Bible in chapter six of the Book of Revelation. The four horsemen are traditionally named Pestilence, War, Famine, and Death. However, this is slightly at odds with the conventional interpretation of the Bible, which actually only directly names the fourth: "Death".
Consequently, it is not possible to definitively state the intended interpretation of the horsemen; in fact, interpretations frequently reflect contemporary values and issues.

The totalisator only paid out on first at 3 to 1 on. For the minor places they declared no dividend, because there were insufficient starters.
What were the name of the scratchings though?

The horses were named after colours. They didn't race.
There were four horsemen, not three.
The rider of the BLACK horse represents FAMINE.
The rider of the PALE horse represents DEATH.
The rider of the RED horse represents WAR and BLOODSHED and the rider of the WHITE horse represents the POWER of God.
