Drink loads of water, and maybe have some caffeine - I think that can help things along. Do a bit of walking too.

You do need to address the reasons, and probably change your diet. Drinking plenty of water and eating a good balanced high fibre diet will help in the long run. But for the short run, try 2 x 15ml of Lactulose and at night 2 Senna (buy both from Boots). If you are also bloated (and usually you are from constipation) you might want to try some herbal diuretics too - that will flatten your stomach. When the party is over, why not try a detox programme and have a good clear out? At the same time, increase the healthy bacteria in your gut with high potency Acidophilus for one month and then add in the live yoghurts to your diet - great mixed in with high fibre cereal in the morning instead of milk.
I was rushed into hospital three months ago with severe abdominal pain. I didn't know I was constipated - bowel movements seemed regular - but apparently had been blocked up for months. Three months later, am waiting for scan result, but am just starting to feel better. I'm totally dependent on Lactulose though and my brother, who is a surgeon, explained that it is ok to take that permanently if necessary. It is a 'suspension' and does not enter the body but draws water into the colon thus helping the bowel movements.
Hope that helps!

Take senopods as directed. Eat a large bowl of All Bran.
Eat some dried ready to eat apricots. Cook some fatty pork with apricots or apple or both and eat it. Plenty of fruit.
Andrews liver salts as directed.
When you are cleared out don't eat refined foods but go for whole foods like brown rice, wholemeal bread and fresh veg. White flour products can make yo constipated and this includes all white pastas.
Good luck and have a good party. By the way with all this whole meal food you could suffer from flatulence. A low price to pay for a healthy inside.

why do you have constipation in the first place? but to get rid of it and not be farting all night at your party. take either of these Castor oil/syrup of figs. stay near a toilet as they work very fast. get some soft loo roll. as your *** will be red raw. also take water with a pinch of salt . this will keep you hydrated ed and replace the salts you will lose. when you got to pass your bowels.place your feet on small raised level(small pile of books or small box). this takes the strain of your lower back and stomach. please look at you diet .so you do not have to go through this every time you are constipated.

They best natural way is some exercise, a long fast walk, jog or a visit to the gym. Not only should this work but will also give you a nice glow for the party.

you need some serious cleansing my friend, the key to this is water, drink lots of liquid as possible and fibrous fruits, this has something to do with your body chem, some fruits might be helpful to some and some that is not too cooperative for you (if you know what i mean) and dirnk milk at night before sleeping
