I have an ipod video and i use itunes on the computer now my sister wants to buy one can she connect her ipod to the same computer and use the same itunes with diffrent songs?

Yes she can, she can create another library and she can add all the songs/videos she wants and when she connects her ipod to the computer it can automatically/or manually upload only the songs from her library and vise versa for your library and ipod.
