Acting is one of the toughest careers to chose. Go to casting calls and do your best as an extra first. Then, maybe a director will discover you. It would also enhance the possibility of being spotted by taking acting lessons and having a voice coach.

If you have actor friends, ask them where they studied acting. If not, call the Community Theaters in Atlanta and ask them for suggestions on acting schools and acting teachers. A lot of movies are filmed in Atlanta so it is a good place to get work.

Once you are in acting class, you can ask questions of your teacher on how to get work as an actor. You are not ready to work as actor, you have six or eight years of study ahead of you. It takes a very long time to become a working actor.
