The answer to your question can be summed up by a line in the oldies song "Everybody Plays the Fool" by the "Main Ingredient", and that line is: "Falling in love is such an easy thing to do, and there's no guarantee that the one you love is gonna love you."
You can't MAKE someone like you, they either do, or they don't. Just consider that while there may be some guy you're interested in who doesn't seem to know you're alive, likewise there may also be some guy who idolizes you, but you don't give them a second glance. The attraction has to be mutually felt.

You don't. Getting a guy to like you (in the sense that you do not be yourself) will be wrong. You should just be yourself and have respect. If he likes/loves you then he will take the natural bait but if not then you should move on because some guys will just mess around with you if you are not careful.

I see this same question so much that I wonder what we women are thinking. We can't make a men like us. If a man is really going to get involved with you (beyond the high school kind of flirty thing) then he is going to get interested in you because of who you are. So, the answer is: be yourself. Be confident. Be mature. Be intelligent. That is the secret to being a woman. :)
