Surely there must be someone in Manila who is adventurous, funny, intelligent, inquiring, uncoventional, creative, altruistic and probably wondering what the hell they are doing (both in Manila and even upon EARTH).

Yes, there is intelligent life in Manila Look at their leader,I don't advocate the way of living , but not everyone is fortunate to pick
where they were born, and have thhe way oor means to leave
Thats if they want to . We should not take things for granted
like having a PC or food and basics

sure there is,life in manila is full of challenge,
you can try it.
You can enjoy the city even it is the heart and place of busy people.
You can try and have shopping experience,
you can even visit the places where you can help that will add points
for being kind.
