Assuming you have already seen the movie then this should be no surprise to you. He had no idea where the holy grail was buried. Legend has been that there is a bunker uner the Rose chapel that the owners of the Rose Chapel refuse to let be xrayed or dug up. They story tell you that the grail was there and has since been moved. Langdon wonders where. He is reminded of the symbol on the floor of the chapel. The Star of David, two triangles intersected. The male and the female symbols connected. He is told that the grail is in a place with a similar marking and that it is in plain sight. As you say that is under the glass pyramid in the new part of the Louvre above the inverse of the pyramid down below. This is when Langdon figures out the last piece of th puzzle, why the curator was at the Louvre. He was the grails protector in more ways than one.

Okay I read the book a while back. Actually not that long ago. And He knew that Mary Magdaline was in there because the Blade and the Chalice.. ( The opposing triangles) Were Actaully the two pyramids pointing twords eachother.
What was on the mind of Langdon.. That he had the chance and honor to know the hidding place Of the One and Only Mary Magdiline. He was just honored that he was the only one to find out the truth about where she was hidden.

The Da Vinci code is a fiction novel, seen a homicide secret. however you're asking whether Da Vinci's outlook on Jesus and his non secular perspectives are actual, then it quite is as much as you to choose. no person knows precisely what's actual and what isn't, and that is basically a remember of what you prefer to have self assurance.

Sorry I don't remember the details of that book/movie. I do recommend reading Dan Brown's other book, "Demons and Angels." Its more exciting than "Da Vinci Code."
