Global warming is a hoax...when a Fmr Vice-President Al Gore blames cigarette smoking for the leading cause of global warming. The same VP A. Gore that owned a tobacco farm in VA until the mid-1980's. He doesnt know, is making it up, and invited several scientists who care little or nothing about their credibility because all they do is politics.

OPEC is a bit more serious...I fail to understand with all the technological advancements we have had in this country, why we still dig for oil in the same way we have for generations. There should be a safer method to get to the oil reserves in Alaska and other portions of the country. While we develop those methods, some research can be done to help reduce our oil dependency, but I dont expect it to happen overnight- but in the long run, it would go a long way towards the stability of prices.

Solar power is an untapped resource. Were there more research in this area, it could become more affordable- right now, the average person couldnt.

Its hard to say because we"re so dependent on oil but I wish we as a nation could use more solar and other types of renewable clean energy
