Yes, I do believe there are far too many loan advertisements on TV for loan companies. Today's society is in debt and in a big way.Young people are in debts that their parents would never have dreamt of being in.
Theses Ad's make it easier for people to fall into debt and repeat the same mistake.
These Ad's aren't really making the consumer better off as temptation and loss of reality allows them to delve into deeper debt.
Ad's that encourage consumers to get out of debt without a loan are far better - as they are actually dealing with the problem, tackling the debt and learning how to budget because they have too.
It is not loans that need to be advertised. It is Life Skills that need to be advertised. Not just on TV either... at schools as well. Give kids a head start on how to spend wisely and hopefully future generations shan't be in as much mess as ours is now.

Yes, there are too many ads for loan companies. On the other hand, there are too many people who only pay the minimum payment on their card(s), or live beyond their means. Loan companies exploit this, & tend to charge higher interest rates than the debts you're already paying off! Stick to a DEBIT card or cash with no overdraft, if you really can't manage your money.

Bearing in mind the increasing national debt to the extent that it's gone over Trillion pounds, it's hardly any surprising.
Some loan company has a viewpoint that they're HELPING others by consolidating customer's debt, while customer's viewpoint is that such a loan company is in fact the REASON for such a massive national debt.

I would say that there are too many ads on TV at the moment in general. Over the past five years the amount dedicated to adverts on commercial television has increased substantially and even on the BBC their trailers for programmes, switch to digital etc have become longer.

Yes, but there is a demand for loans from people who have no other option than to find alternative to deal with day to day financial problems.in some instances consolidating all your debts in one loan account may help to deal with the hardship of being in debt.
