you must be kidding me:ever heard that it is normal to have erections?
It's part of what you are :a man.
The Church is crazy to deny sexuality.
This is 2006
Not 835!!!!!!!!!!
They should get real!!
But if you so desire:go see a doctor ,explain it and you will get pills.

I admire and respect your desires to enter the priesthood. I also realise that the good Lord above has formed you to be a normal male human, with normal desires and unforunately undesirable normal reflexes such as having erections for no reason at all espcially at you age(assuming a young seminary student).
Yes, there are drugs (some over the counter) and herbs that have been mentioned in some of the other answers. I will not give you the names of the drugs because there is no drug or herbs that taken over long period of time without proper professional supervision that are without petential serious and dangerous side effects. It is most important to keep you well and healthy in order for you to perform G-ds Work.
I would however like to make 2 suggestions.
Discuss your problem with you senior priests and advisors. They will respect your problem and will be understanding, because if they too are normal, I assure you they have had or still do have the same problem. They could have suggestions to help you that I could not possibly be aware since I am an orthodox Jew and obviously have never entered a seminary to become a priest.
I have also practiced medicine for over 40 years. I have had many patients with various problems too numerous to mention,
where so called "conventional medicine" was less than helpful.
I am delighted to say, that many of these patients have been helped with professional hypnosis. I honestly do not know if this would be helpful for you, but perhaps it could be. I do however urge you to get permission from your seminary before taking my advise or anything else should you decide to investigate.
I wish you G-d's speed. May he bless you and keep you. There just isn't enough of G-d's children like you.

one of the treatment i started on
was called aldactone it is a spironolactone
one of the side effect of it was impotency
and lowered sex drive
i was on that drug for about a week
when i noticed i got erections less frequent
and less harder
i stopped getting erections like i would have about two month in to treatment except for the old one every now and again but they are nothing that say i could use
but every one is different and the drug aldactone may not work on you so i say ask your doctor if you can
aldactone can coarse other problem so ask a doctor before self medicating

Impotent?
Remember: "the brain is the most important sexual organ."
Try high levels of estrogen that causes reduced
levels of testosterone, loss of muscle tone, loss of libido and sexual function, as well as happen in "effeminate" subjects.
Become a great smoker since the most part of smokers get loss of libido in the time.
Alcohol or antidepressant (seretonine) and high stress also are a good inhibitor of the lust.
Lastly, as final and definitive solution, there is the Sterilization (Vasectomy) or the Castration!
In my opinion, a good priest could have sex or get married even!
Anyway, be a good priest then!

There are some Chinese medicinal herbs which are great in
suppressing the urge for sex or to stop you from an erection.
These herbs are safe and harmless for your usage.
You can obtain them from a Chinese 'sinseh' (medicine man)
at the Chinese medical shop or center in China town.
Best of luck for your priesthood!

There are many drugs that achieve that as a side-efffect but to use medications without justification is dangerous and ill-advised. I would suggest counseling before doing anything to determine your real motivation.
