I would have put "return to sender" on all and put back in the mailbox- that mail is not your responsibility and there is no way I would have paid to send them to him- completely ridiculous- I would have been ticked and very leery of the packages being sent because it could have easily been drugs, terrorists items, etc and if the feds found out about the packages- you'd have a lot of explaining to do- all around very bad situation- I would've have told him he needs to contact all senders and give them his correct address because I want no part of this and don't have the time for all this- best wishes! Call me paranoid but the more I got to thinking about your situation- I really think you should call your local sheriff's dept and tell them about this- at the airport they tell you don't take anything from a stranger- here are parcels you're handling and mailing off without knowing the contents- this day and age- these parcels could mean nothing or everything- you just never know what you got yourself involved in- better to be safe than sorry- hell you may stop a terrorist or drug smuggling ring- good luck!

Did you know that postmen take mail home with them on a night?
That's right, they are supposed to take it to a local sorting office if they don't complete the round or have a parcel where someone i out but it's very common for them to take it home and deliver it the next day.
I'm not sure i like the fact my (maybe extremely important) post is sat in someones car or dumped in the corner of their kitchen all night.
My brother is a postman and after some of the stories i fully understand why lots of our mail goes missing.

Some people in our road mounted a campaign against the local postman and took pictures of various ways in which he was breaking the rules (such as piling up the mail on people's walls for sorting and going off to carry out deliveries). You have to complain and complain until you're even bored with yourself and eventually the post office will be so fed up that they'll replace him. Enlist the neighbours and get them to complain. And meanwhile, alert next door neighbours when you do go away, provided that you can trust them, which I hope you can.

in the past i have worked for the post office and we had some post men leaving parcels on the door steps and letters they know had credit cards ect hanging from the letter boxes..then they would have some one follow them and steal the said item..u cant trust any one these day ..so my advice is take it to the top and get ur postie the push..he is either lazy or up to no good either way you will lose out if you do nothing...dont stand for it

email royal mail with your complaint - or heres a more personal approach - go down in your dressing gown after waiting to catch him - and tell him your dead auntie had left you something important but it was left on the doorstep and someone stole it. Cry hysterically about sentimentality and loss etc etc and tell him he is the only one who can prevent it happening again! See how well he delivers parcels in future!!

first thing i would do is report him to your local postoffice, they will do a full investigation,if your suposed to sign for a parcel then he is in the wrong,
i had the same problem,i was in the prosess of buying my house,i ordered some wardrobes,i told them the date i was moving into my house, the wardrobe were left outside the new house,i wasn't even living there yet, luckily for me they were not stolen,i reported them & they looked into it

Hide behind the door & when he ring your bell next time jump out on him & scare him to death. Give him a piece of your mind then rip his head off!
