This is a really good movie with a great cast, kind of a Sopranos type of family but more true to life and very reflective of the political climate and culture in Ireland during the period of the film'

Its called "the general" and its about a guy called Martin Cahill he was one of the first criminals in Ireland who played the system for his own ends. If you watch it, it will give you a good insight into Dublin characters at that time, it also touches on the role the provisonal I.R.A at work on the crime scene as well.
