AM I DYING of a side pain?

ok so i was sleeping and i just woke up with a really bad pain on ny right side right next to my hip any ideas what it is. last month i didnt have my peroid.dont ask me why but i am not sexually acittve. it feels a litle better when i fart. PLZ HELP ME AM I DYING

oo ya i need to know wht i have and no stuoid answes.

It's a little hard to tell, you being all the way over there and all.

You should probably get checked out by a doctor if this is worrying you.

Some possibilities include:

anxiety
appendicitis (do you still have your appendix in?)
ectopic pregnancy (could you be pregnant? are you sexually inactive?)
hip pains - arthritis, slipped femoral epiphysis ... fractures?? sprains?
kidney stones (urinary calculi)
ovarian cyst
shingles (do you have a rash in your skin)
soft tissue injury (have you hit or otherwise hurt your side there? has it been overstretched?)
urinary infection (bladder infection or kidney infection)
viral illness (eg gastroenteritis)

The fact that it feels a little better when you break wind seems to suggest that it is related to your colon - your large bowel. This could be some form of bowel cramping pain.

If this is worrying you, get it checked out straight away. If you are very sick with it, go to a hospital emergency department. If you are critically ill, call an ambulance.

If it is quite mild, you might try some simple pain relief before you consider doing any of the above - paracetamol (acetaminophen) for instance.
