I would rather not know, thank you. All those things you might do if you thought you were going to die soon, you should do anyway. Make a will. If the beneficiaries change, update it. Buy the insurance you need to be confident your dependents will be cared for. Make peace with old enemies, and visit loved ones far away. Write the book you promised yourself to write.
As soon as I get the time . . .

It would depend on the individual. Most human beings have no idea who they are or what they are.
Death is a fearful idea for nearly every soul on this planet.
Both science and religion attempt to explain the phenomena of life. Neither succeed completely enough to prevent all of us to not have anxiety about death. For these reasons and more I believe it would not be a good thing for most people.
Death is just a doorway. A doorway into another realm of awareness unfamiliar to us.

Well it would be pretty cool if you knew that, to take out a massive life insurance policy 1 week before you're expiry, and then set someone up that you didn't like to make it look like someone did something to you.
You make someone you love rich, and piss someone off you never liked...mu ha ha ha ha.
But no, i personally rather not. I rather enjoy life, and whatever happens happens.

There are to many people living in fear as it is, people just need to relax and take life as it comes and not worry so much about the future and what might happen

The constant knowing of my impending death would totally consume my thoughts and hinder the living process.
I would not want to know.

It would be good, would give me time to look for a well located grave, and plan my death ahead of time.
