Of course there is a Santa Claus! He's not a material person, but he exists just the same. You may as well say there is no Harry Potter!
Once an identity solidifies around a story or legend, it takes on a life of its own. It exists, it just does not have material existence. In the case of Santa Claus, he takes on material existence every time a man with a good heart dons a red suit with white trim.

Well I don't know what you are talking about !!!! But for yearssssss and yearsssssssss I have been leaving out Cookies, Milk and Carrots on Christmas Eve and every Christmas morning they are GONE!! Someone has to eat them!!
Now as proof of the existance of the jolly old elf - my oldest son lives clear across the country from me - and he has now carried on this tradition of the Cookies, Milk and Carrots in his household - and low and behold - they are not there in the morning in his home either!!! Who else but Santa can travel that fast in one night and like cookies and milk and feed his reindeer at the same time? :-)

I was about nine, it was March and I found the letter I had sent to Santa under my dad's armchair. He couldn't explain why it was there, but I knew.
I was gutted!

I never gave a crap. I always suspected it was my siblings or my parents... just like the tooth fairy. I found out when I was pretty young, but I don't remember when.
