I do it because I cant stand to be stuck behind the moron that takes 30 seconds to get to the speed limit and has everyone behind them hitting the brakes and slowing way down. The way I see it is like this. When you are pulling onto another road that has traffic it is your responsibility to get your vehicle up to the speed limit in a reasonable amount of time. its the adrenaline rush of taking off either from dragging someone off or just to feel the power under your foot and boys/men arent the only ones who do it.
