The first day of my last period was Sept. 28th. My husband and I had sex on October 8th. How good are my chances of ovulation and conseption at that time? All help is greatly appreciated!!

periods are only one thing to look at, get tested, it's the only sure way to know... and it's about 98.97% correct.

If you have a 28 day cycle and your last period was on September 28th then you would be fertile on October 9th through the 13th and ovulate on October 12th.
Your period would be due October 26
In November you will be fertile on 6th through the 10th and ovulate on November 9th.
Your period would be due on November 23rd

What my nurse had told me was that you count fourteen days after the first day of your period. more or less that is the time you are ovulating. she also said if trying to get pregnant having sex every day lowers the sperm count so try every other day.
it also depends on your period cycle days. Good luck.

I TRIED 11 TO 14 DAYS AFTER MY PERIOD AND BECAME PREGNAT WITH MY FIRST DAUGHTER. MY SECOND WAS NOT PLANNED, BUT, IT TOO WAS ABOUT 12 DAYS AFTER MY PERIOD, I THINK THE CHANCES ARE VERY GOOD, BUT, THE 11 TO 14 DAY THING WORKED FOR ME BECAUSE I WAS ON A 28 TO 29 DAY CYCLE. EACH WOMAN IS DIFFERENT. IF THAT DOSE NOT WORK YOU CAN GET OVUALTION STICKS AT THE DRUG STORE, THEY ARE NOT NEARLY AS EXPENSIVE AS THE KIT AND THEY WORK JUST AS GOOD, MY AUNT USED THEM WHILE TRYING FOR HER SECOND CHILD. well my aunt has that problem but she had her period on October 8th don't worry my aunt is fine so don't worry.
