Yes MBA through distance mode is less valuable but if u r working in a good organisation and a good position then you can go for distance education.
One basic thing I want to tell u that MBA is not just reading and gaining knowledge from books then those who are passing out of IIM or foreign Universities and from some small unknown institute would get the same value because they are studying the same subject and the books of same authors.
MBA means the scientific and efficient implementation of your real life practical knowledge which u have gained from different situation of u r works. That's why it is better to have a good number of years of work experience in your life before you decide to go for MBA.
According to your requirement check the websites of AICTE ,UGC and follow the financial times. You will get your own answer and that would be the best

Distance MBA programs are basically designed for working professionals who could not attend the regular live programs for some reason or the other. Distance MBA in online mode is offered by NIBM (National Institute of Business Management). NIBM offers one year MBA, two year MBA and one year Executive MBA in online mode and it also offers MBA video tutorials for all the registered students. Visit the official NIBM website for more.

No its not so actually distance education is meant for the perople who are already working. SO if you are allready working your work experience and current job would also add to your degree. while if you are simple a student then the companies would desire from you a regular degree.
