I have 12 and 13 yr old daughters too and we use Johnson & Johnson face wash (it has the same ph balance as skin so its gentle) - our favourite is the exfoliating one as the micro beads feel great - my 13 yr old doesn't use it enough and has small blackheads too - they go when I can convince her to wash properly. I have converted almost all of my friends to it as well as it really is great!!!!! Also make your daughter drink more water to flush her system and help keep her skin clear (also helps with bloating ladies!!) and the obvious one is to cut out most fats and sugars in her diet!

If she's 13, it's only the beginning of a long battle. That's when my daughter started getting acne. By age 15, I was taking her to a dermatologist to extract those stubborn blackheads. She had them on top of her nose, under her nose and even in her ear. Gosh, it was worth every penny I paid to get rid of those things. To my knowledge, there's not a product out there that will remove blackheads, especially if they are deep. They have to be extracted somehow. Once there gone though, it is important to keep up a consistent regimen using mild, but effective products on the face. That might possibly prevent them, plus don't wear liquid make-up that will clog pores.

I had the same problem as a teen. What i did then and still do today is buy cleansing strips for the nose. There are different brands available, but i use NU PORE. Good luck.

Try Blackhead removing strips.
Also, you can try to steam her face for a good 5 minutes (carefully) and then remove them with a black head remover. Its this small stick like object with a metal at one end. Its great for remving blackheads, but you got to steam your face to remove it painlessly.
GoodLuck!

It's puberty..just let her be herself..don be all on her nose lookin..lol.. but just make sure she always keeps her face clean and its best not to touch your face incase of your hands being dirty..and maybe get stridex pads to clean her face like after p.e. or something to keep the dirt away.

You can buy black head patches from the drug store, which you just stick on the nose. When you remove it, black heads come off with it.

I reccommend using the Biore deep pore strips. You can get them at your local drug store. I used to use it alot when I had really nasty blackheads on my nose. Now they're clear!
