Incident water molecules from the vapor are directly incorporated into the ice crystal lattice. Namely, the adhesive growth mechanism. The growth rate (RII) is dominated by the diffusion process of water molecules in the atmosphere.

Since ice crystals have a lattice structure with 6 sides, snowflakes growing in a saturated environment continue to mimic this shape. Snow flakes are not frozen rain drops, they form when supercooled water (water drops below freezing) evaporate and the vapor is deposited on the growing snowflake. The size, shape, and rate of growth are controlled by the temperature and amount of moisture present.

Scientists are not sure on how come the snowflakes are always a perfect symmetrical shape.

God made every single thing in creation. different.to show his love for all things he wonted to show us that we also are special.each and every single thing.you included. that is my thoughts on that.isn't nature wonderfully.all water particles have deferring molecules in differing amounts and the ways of freezing alters there shapes accordingly.
