it use to be scary with costumes that had fake blood dripping blood everywere! now look at it!and another thing! there are never aney good haunted houses aney more they all suck! and then theres the lazzy *** peaple who try to pass there street cloths off as costumes. i hate those peaple!

We still have lots of Halloween houses down here in the north Texas region. In my house Halloween is just as big as any other holiday. Still lots of kids dressing up in costumes, (not ordinary clothes but real costumes) and lots of parties to attend. Happy Halloween everyone.

Not to worry! There are plenty of real Halloween enthusiasts out there putting on super parties, making wonderful costumes, and decorating as if they're trying to win a medal. There is a mailing list dedicated to serious Halloweeners; if you like, you can join by sending an e-mail to halloween-l-join@wildrice.com. Some people even do haunted houses in their own homes!
Go into any Spirit store, and tell me that Halloween ain't scary anymore.

In Northern Alberta Halloween is still big but the weather really puts a damper on going door to door. Many go to malls now as well as halloween parties. Many organizations are doing the haunted houses as forms of fundraisers now and alot of kids are going to them. We even have a halloween alley here in Edmonton.
As for costumes...the little gaffers still have cute, and in most cases, affordable ones. It's the teenagers who appear to be falling away from dressing up. I find that less parents are into making costumes so the teens are relying on whatever is in their closets...it's really too bad.

Ive tried getting my kids to dress scary but they just want to be divas and princesses .LOL my 4 year old is terrified of Halloween decorations so she only gets to go to a couple of houses . My 8 year old however loves it .Her and Dad are out for hours!
