I enjoy listening to the shipping forecast although i've no idea what your man's talking about. do you?

This brings back so many happy memories for me.I had to go and live with grandparents as a teen and they listened to them all the time I found them as exciting as watching paint dry well was a teen. Now if I here them and sometimes I do seek and find for comfort as they remind me of my grandparents who have sadly passed away now.

Ok now I am sitting here scratching my head wondering where your coming from and what is a shipping forecast? I normally know what my man is talking about, just not what your going on and on about...
Humm shipping forecast could be like Fed-Ex delivery today not good due to snow. Or it could be ships coming and going. Or it could be the voices in your head....

No, because it just confuses me trying to keep up, but Alan Davies did make me laugh on QI last night when he said he used to call it the "Chicken Forecast" because that's what it sounded like the guy was saying!

Oh and sometimes when i'm up late, yeah, i do flick on the old radio to station number 4. For me its the numbers: they mean nothing to me, and yet the knowledge that they are there and cannot be changed provides a sense of security...you know?
