I feel like im more the man in the relationship and its really starting to get to me even my friends always ask me "WHATS WRONG WITH HIM?" im tired of making excuses for him is there anything that i can do or say to change him before i end up leaving him. We also have a homestay business with other korean students that we teach english to but he is just dragging me down. Please help me.....How do i get to make him more social?

He's embarassing YOU!?! Wow, aren't YOU just such a lovely girlfriend...? He is who he is, and if he's anti-social, so be it. A lot of people just like to keep to themselves. It's okay. As long as he's not icy towards you, what does it matter? Screw your friends. They shouldn't be asking something so rude like that anyway! And if you're not compatible, leave him. Don't try to openly change him like some type of avid religious nutcrack. He should have friends, shouldn't he? Why don't you try hanging out with them, then? Maybe he's more social with his own crowd.

he may have social anxiety problems and supporting him in going to therapy may help. That is the only thing you can do as a girl friend. Otherwise, he may not be the one b/c is a person is not willing to change, you deffinetly cannot change them

Well, he probably needs more encouragement, you could introduce some of your friends, and then slowly, when he starts to mingle with everyone, he will socialize automatically.
All the best.

He may have 'issues' he's not addressing, try a councilor, have you tried asking him? If he's totally unresponsive maybe you need to reevaluate your relationship. There's got to be something that's enabling this situation. Be Good and God bless.
