A decade ago to learn English, you had to attend costly English classes or purchase course material like tapes and books. Now you can learn English for free from the comfort of your home using the Internet. The BBC and the British Council offer a number of on line courses, which teach written and spoken English. You can also improve your English by watching television programs and reading English newspapers. For more information, visit http://tinyurl.com/qnzpt

Listen to English music, watch English films, drink English tea(It's helpuful!)...and join an English class...Then try to get a certificate like the K.E.T. or the P.E.T.(I've done them because I'm Italian too) and, if you pass these exams, you can speak English quite well!!Good luck!!

Quickest way is to get yourself an English boyfriend! Italian is a beautiful, expressive language but unfortunately not an International one.

Are there many foreigners where you live? Try to meet some English native speakers and spend time with them, asking them to correct your mistakes in comversation. Many find the Italian accent charming and would no doubt enjoy conversing with you.

try to read english books and then everytime you encounter a difficult word, check the dictionary.
it also helps if you watch american or english shows. there are a lot of great tv series out there.
you can also enroll yourself in a class like wordpower or grammar class or something like that.
and most importantly, practice speaking in english by speaking in english.

See if your school has an exchange program, that will allow you to study in an English speaking country for awhile.
