Sounds like muscle spasms, that location can be brutal, I get those daily. Try a heating pad, if you don't have one, try a rice sock. Get a tube sock, put 3 cups rice, tie off and nuke for 3mins. Get a cloth to put between you and the sock, this is so you won't burn your skin, and lay back. The deep moist heat should help loosen the muscle and get circulation to that area. Ibuprofen helps for inflammation. If you are taking other meds for your cold, you may want to wait on the ibuprofen.

I thought ,I had wrote that! ,I have that pain every day.
may be this has no connection to your pain .i hope not . tomorrow i go in hospital for a heart mital valve repacment and was hoping my pain will go away after it .I`V had the pain on, more than off since 19 90 .
check it out with a doctor

Sounds like it could be Frozen shoulder, also called adhesive capsulitis. Rest is about the only thing that fixed mine. Good luck

Had the same thing just this week. You get medicine that relaxes the muscles. Take one or two of that... works like a charm!!!

sounds like tendonitus ...go to the dr and they will prescribe a muscle relaxer .....
