I am new here in Atlanta and have no idea where to go for the things I like to do.
Please tell me where the best:
1) Reggae clubs(I NEED to get my Dutty Wine on!) I went to Primetime and was sadly dissapointed to be Snap Dancing all night..
2) Comedy clubs-bring on the funny!
3) Live jazz
4) Open mics for poetry, rhyming
are? Please keep in mind I live in Decatur-don't be sending me all the way out past Cobb County somewhere, please...LOL!

I have looked in the yellow pages-unfortunately it doesn't tell you whether at any of these places you'll have a GOOD time-that's why I want you guys opinion...thanks!

for reggae: go to the peacock which is in the sweet auburn area of downtown. Its a hole in the wall but none the less you will have your reggae.
for comedy: go to the uptown comedy club on marietta street , also downtown.
