Toys R Us and most other places with children's departments have sales on learning toys, that is one idea. My grandchildren love gift cards because, at that age, they feel like an adult when handing the card to the cashier. They also feel good knowing they bought something on their own. A $5.00 card is great.

most of kids that age love to recieve gift cards.they can shop for what they really want and it is fun for them......
