I have been consumed with the baseball playoffs....As an big fan of the NY Mets, I have eaten bags of pretzels, potato chips, drank a few too many beers and have to get some more at the supermarket the first thing in the morning....
The telephone rang during the ninth inning and I didn't bother to answer it when the Cardinals starting hitting and wound up winning 9-6...and, I didn't answer it the telephone. When I answered the phone, I was given a lecture about how there are more important things in life besides the palyoffs....She was right and I felt foolish.
And, so its been going...Do any of the ladies have the same trouble with spouses or b/f...and are the ladies being caught up in the baseball playoffs as well..?
Eating way too much junk food...?

No my b/f doesn't have a problem with baseball consuming his life.He enjoys baseball but is not obsessed with it.He is well balanced emotionally, intellectually, spiritually, and socially..He's a great guy.
I am more consumed with the playoffs.I have to remind myself of my priorities. My b/f is grounded. And he eats healthy too...ok, an occasional candy bar but he's well disciplined.
We never get so consumed that we neglect each other....

Well, not really. But I've been putting off my assignment 'cause I just can't resist watching the playoffs (read: the Mets :) ). I also sacrifice a few hours of my nighttime sleep to see the games and the postgame show :D. I've been drinkin' more coffee lately. But I'd say it's all worth it. Let's go Mets!!!!

I did, but I told myslef, I was done, burned out, the season of so many hopes over......and that was about a week ago. I said, March, I'm done until March.
Then, I'm driving to work, Metallica comes on singing "Enter Sandman" and the next morning , John Fogerty is singing "...look at me, I can be centerfield"
Is it spring training yet?
