The answer is both yes and no.

No, a girl cannot get pregnant before her menstrual cycle is activated by her body.

However, a girl CAN get pregnant on her first menstrual cycle.

Think of it this way, the girl has never had a period in her life. But her body has developed and is starting her menstrual cycle. She has sex, and is ovulating and is releasing her first egg. The ovum is fertilized and implants in the uterus. Since this happens, she does not "have her period". She is pregnant.

In effect, she has never "had her period" (aka the bloody part) and is pregnant.

First of all, a girl at the age of 12 should not even be THINKING about this subject! She has WAY too many years ahead of her to worry about that. She is still a CHILD and should be focused on her studies. I will not answer a yes or a no to this though, because I do not know who is asking the question. Is it the 12 year old girl? Or some disgusting pervert??

I don't like this question, but I don't want a 12 year old girl thinking she can't get pregnant just because she hasn't had a period. You get pregnant when you are ovulating, you ovulate before you have a period. so yes, you can get pregnant if you haven't had a period yet because you may still be ovulating.

no u can not get pregnant before getting her period! but that doesnt meen u should do anything at this age*sexual intercourse*. This is a bad habit to start because then when you get your period you wills till be doing those things and GET A BABY AND MAKE YOUR PARENTS GRAND PARENTS. It is not safe at this age, so be smart and just because every1 is doin it! doesn't mean u gotta do the same. Just mature at your own pace and age. 12 is not a good age to start. Think of maybe an ADULT AGE. BUT JUST B SMART PLEASE. i AM SICK OF HEARING ABOUT TEEN PEGNANCY (I'M HELPIN A SISTA OUT).

GOOD LUCK !!!!!!!!! HOPE U AIN'T GETTIN INTO ANYTHIN

This could only happen if she got pregnant the first time she ever ovulated, right before her first-ever period was due. So yes, it's possible. And yes, it's happened.

There's now way to know when your first period will come though, and therefore no way to know when she's ovulating for the first time.

12 is too young but don't believe it if they say no. The answer is YES. Before you get your first period you need to ovulate for the first time. Ovulation happens before your period and you won't know you have ovulated till you get your first period. So the safest way...DON'T HAVE SEX UNTIL YOU ARE 21

Yes.

Eggs or ovumes are there, if it gets fertilised, she gets pregnant.

No one knows in advance the exact time of their first period, so at age 12 years, pregnancy is just waiting to happen.

The earliest recorded pregnancy is at age 9 years

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure you would have to start menstruating before you can get pregnant. I really hope a 12 year old isn't having sex, especially unprotected...none of my business, but if a condom is worn, you shouldn't have to worry about pregnancy.
