Yes.

Most organisations monitor computer use.

Just make sure you are not breaching your company's IT policies.

In some cases, some people have had their employment terminated for abusing the organisation's property that is not related to their work.

Maybe you can ask a question:
How can I improve productivity & make my boss more money?
(therefore it will support your case against dismissal)

Yep, the administrator probably has the capability of knowing, but probably doesn't give a damn unless yur Osama bin, or George will. But if you are monkey doo I wouldn't worry about it to much. Like anything or anywhere else some people notice you, some don't, some don't want to, so be the type of person you want to be, plus see others and if you see something in them that you like, I don't know of any rules against emulation. Now stop that break and get back to work before you are fired!!!

It is possible. Many employers log and/or monitor everything you do on your computer or on the Internet. You probably signed some fine print giving them permission to do so, as a condition of employment.

Whether or not you could get into trouble for being on Yahoo Answers depends upon their policy (and what you were accessing).

besides the reality that some contributors could take care of it as such, that become never YAHOO's purpose. that's meant to be a on the instant and real question and answer format. yet you are able to nevertheless hardly blame some persons for reacting to the greater arguable matters on a private point.

If he has the proper software to track user then yes, but yahoo answers is not a bad place to be unless your admin says otherwise.

The answer is he could find out if they want to know. "Will he know" is subjective. If your office has a policy against Yahoo answers then they probably will know.
