Disadvantages. Expensive; Slow; Upgrading; Cooling problems; Very limited disk space; Battery life; keyboard, easily stolen.
Advantages. Go anywhere; Wireless.
So, not many advantages and a large list of disadvantages so it boils down to your lifestyle. Me - I have 2 laptops so I'm a glutton for punishment!

They are portable and easy to carry, some are as good as a full Desktop computer and the best thing is that they are small. One bad thing is that they can brake easly and can be stolen easy too so dont leave it in plain sight.

They are fab, for a start they have flat screens, small and portable and stylish, i never owned anything other than a laptop, there are more issues than laptops to consider as damaging our society, crime, immigration, bad politics...
