My friend tells me she's moving, wants to get rid of these roaches her neighbors (in same building) brought in when they moved there. She said she's hoping to get rid of them as quickly as possable so she doesn't move them when she moves. Any suggestions? I have NO idea what to tell her, so I told her I'ld look it up online...so, anyway, can anyone help so I don't go back empty handed? THANKS!!

hummmnn i tend to agree with the majority about bug bombs, but heres the downside, when a roach dies they disperse thier eggs as last minute ditch to keep the species going, i would suggest she bomb her house now and then check for egg cases, they look like rice krispies...gross huh...but the amount of eggs in that case will make her life a living hell....when she gets to new home, unpack everything, burn boxes if she can and bomb the new house as well, itll kill the little critters that maybe hanging on...i like using a bomb that makes a fog on the floor i think raid has one...good luck...

first she will end up leaving a whole lot of stuff. dont take any boxes if she accumulated any. if she buys some after she needs to invesst in some chalk she can get at the 99c store it is asian chalk to mark all around the borders and the walls she may even want to do it in her new place just to be sure she missed any babies. they say boric acid is good but if she has kids she dont want them to accidentally put it in their mouths.. pack up what she can now and chalk it tie it up really good with the chalk inside. the chalk i use on ants but it is good for silver fish ants and roaches, flies too. it works in minutes. she will know when they are gone cause they leave such a horrid smell when they are in your home. smells likewet nasty wood with amnia on it. oh that wil help too but you risk respiratory illnessess with that

Place roach baits ( you can buy off the shelf) all over the house. Leave them for a night.

Boric acid , it is very effective when used properly for killing
cockroaches and most other insects.

Use a bug bomb, Raid makes them, make sure to put newspaper below it, and remove all pets. Good luck.

Cook them, I heard they taste like chicken. :O) On a serious note, I got a pest offense and it worked great. Search for pest offense online, or on ebay.
