I was obsessed with the Monkees when I was a teenager. I have the DVDs of the show and every CD, plus a number of posters and other vintage memorabilia (including a lunch box and several books). And to the poster who said the Monkees weren't a "real" band, it's too bad how wrong that statement is...

Hell yeah! I'll tell you a cool story. . .about 5 years ago I worked for The Limited, and for summer, Les Wexner paid to have Kings Island for the day. It was for employees only, and The Monkees played there! It was just Mickey and Davy but it was still great! Barry Williams opened up for them, and he sang "I'm The Greg Brady"! I laughed so hard!

Ch'yeah! I own all of their episodes on DVD. And I remember when they used to come on Screen Gems Network about seven years ago. They're never forgotten... in my heart. :) Of course I like their songs too. My favorites are Daddy's Song, You Just May Be the One, and Tapioca Tundra. Rock on Monkees!

The Monkees were the USA answer to the Beatles. They were an incredible group by far. Their best songs were "Daydream Believer" and "Cuddly Toy" in my opinion.
