why do people continue to defend it and delude themselves? And considering those facts AND that you actually don't need pornography to masturbate, what rational excuse could there be? And something better than that trite old corker "two consenting adults", yada yada. Give me a f*cking break. Wives whose relationships are destroyed by porn addict husbands, that's NOT consent

Morals do NOT equal prudishness. Our country has moven towards such an extreme that level-headed is considered "prudish". Sad.

I agree with u ,u have put very good question, marriages can be and are also being ruined by these things, this is not only the cause but it can be one of it, bcoz this kind things blocks humans brain, and makes its thougths dirty not satisfies with his wife, or womens too and these things can only brings sickness and addiction and the person will never be try to be satisfied with sex, first of all leave the matter of ruining his marrige he or she is ruining his brain , his thougts, his career even, if person starts seeing all this things he will also make his freind circle dirty, u just think what signal it leaves to the coming generation would anyone like our own kids watching such things or asking dirty question on net, these things can only and only make a person sick and addicted, some things are always good in curtains , shameless things never have charm, Divert ur mind in good things try to help others try to be ambitios in ur life make ur parent proud of u.Pray to god for peace all over, beleive this help u more than seeing all useless things.
May be now a person who is young he will think i cant stick with one wife whole my life i need more sexy girls in my life, but our human body never stay the same one time will come that he will be sick , or in pain and needs help, there that sexy women will never help him ,she will always act as this person is outdated for her, but a true wife will always help him , so try to be faithful to ur wife, b, coz to every one death is sure to come, we are born to die ,live life in a better way dont ruin it with dirty things which can be never beneficial, make ur thougts healthy , try to be health in the society and make world a beautiful place like paradice"

Porn itself does not destroy marriages.. Addictive personalities destroy marriages just like a husband addicted to gambling or anything else.. People use any excuse to get divorced.. Waaaa my husband looks at to much porn.. well kick his *** to the curb if you don't like it and find a man that doesn't need porn.. geez all this whinin about porn destroying marriages.. No YOUR HUSBAND destroyed your marriage.. Nice to have something to blame it on though ain't it?..To say images of people having sex destroys marriages is just crazy as hell. How can porn be misogyny LMAO most women who do it enjoy doing it, and what about gay porn that definitely can't be considered misogyny now can it.

OK I'm not defending porn but a relationship is not destroyed by porn. the search for something else porn or any other thing is a failure of the relationships.

You seem to think that every woman has the same point of view as yourself! Personally, I enjoy watching most porn. If I see something that I don't like, I don't watch it. No one forces me to watch it. Porn actually enhances my marriage, so get off your high horse and allow "two consenting adults" to do what they want in the privacy of their own home!

Porn has played a major roll in problems in my marriage. My husband is a porn addict. As far as misogyny goes, I don't believe that is the case. He doesn't hate women or fear them. He says it is just something that he does. The problem I see with it, is that it has taken away from our intimacy, because instead of coming to me for sex, he prefers masterbating to porn. As in all addictions, it is a disease of the mind. One that I can't win in.

Do you differentiate between the addict and the casual observer?
How do you connect a hatred of women to pornography in the first place.

Because as long as there is a demand for it, people will make it. Law of supply and demand. As for defending it, alcohol ruins marriages...drugs ruin marriages...adultry ruins marriages...gambling ruins marriages...abusive spouses ruin marriages...being in debt ruins marriages...even sports can ruin marriages (ever heard of "football widows"?), are you going to speak out against all those things also?
