What type of art is shown in the movie "First Wives Club"? Please help?

In the opening credits and in a couple scenes there are various comic book type art pieces with a dot matrix effect surrounding them or in them. For instance a woman spraying a can of hairspray. What type of art is that called? Or is it a specific artist? PLEASE HELP ! It is driving me crazy !

The genre is called Pop Art, like Andy Warhol

The art in the opening credits is Liechtenstein. There is also some Andy Warhol in the film.
