i think thats wonderful!!! i would get in touch with a lawyer and see what steps you have to take they can refer you to the right place i think a lawyer who deals with family law would be an excellent place to start!!

now what you better do is prepare yourself for a bit of a sticky wikett...go to court and ask for a hearing to see the judge about legal name ,,,,
basically its called a ''adoption without unity...
call a attorney specializing in that field better yet and many wishes for a result that you are hoping for...
