Youll need to unscew the plate on the base of the lappy ... but if you didn't know this ...it's probably better to take in into the store where you bought the extra Ram from .... will take about 1 minute to fit and they shouldn't charge you

The memory module cover is underneath the notebook ... almost in the centre of it.

Memory modules that you can fit are (according to your manual): 256 MB or 512 MB or 1024 MB modules.

The modules are PC2100, 200-pin, SO Dual In-line (SO-DIMM).

The manual doesn't make it absolutely clear, and seeing as I don't possess one of these notebooks, I was unable to check, but I think there may only be one slot in which to fix the memory expansion. (You should already have either 256 MB or 512 MB installed on your motherboard.)

You are able to have a maximum of 1.5 GB of RAM installed on your notebook.

If you need to get a copy of the Manual for your notebook, simply click on the link below.

Best of luck.

Dont try it yourself!!! Replacing your memory could easily viod your warranty on your notebook, take your notebook to a computer specialists with your RAM and they should upgrade your RAM, it could be costly though, but its not worth the risk of damaging your notebook computer or vioding its warranty.

I hope this helped answer your question.
Have a great day!

Memory is usually located under the keyboard and u need to get the memory your computer would fit. Usually when removing your keyboard you would find some king of square metal peace that you have to unscrew to get to the memory. This may be diffrent for your Labtop
