with the changing trend there is no more fire triangle left which used to have three sides as heat , fuel , air.
now it is known as fire tetrahedron which has four elements
1. heat
2. fuel
3. Air
4. A chain reaction (it forms the base of tetrahedron)

oxygen, an element that has a capacity to be burned like carbon and a mechanism to induce the combustion or to light a fire or some external pressure are needed

the so called elements of fire or the fire triangle is composed of the folowing: fuel, heat and oxygen.. without any of the three fire or better known as combustion will not be possible

I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter
you're the firestarter, twisted firestarter ... starter ... starter

if you are talking elements ...
- oxygen is an element and primarily exists as a molecule, O-O and constitutes 21% of the current atmosphere
- photons: heat can be generated by a focussed stream of photons given a sunny day and a lens (alternatively by chemical reactions, nuclear reactions, electromagnetic dissipation or mechanical dissipation (e.g.friction)) - photons are certainly fundamental and may be elemental
- carbon is the third element and of course is an element and is present in many combustible materials, commonly with hydrogen, thus wood is 49% carbon, 6% hydrogen, and 0.2% nitrogen

Air, fuel, and a spark.

Or enough heat.

My big brother used to touch a match to the back of our metal fire place. I'd always jump a little when it lit.

If you try this, make sure your hand is lower than the match head, so you don't burn your self. If your a kid have an adult perform this trick, please.

Fuel, Heat and Oxygen!

Hah! All wrong. You only need two. Oxygen and fuel. Many fuels will burn when combined with oxygen with no ignition source.

Fuel, Oxygen, & Heat. Been in science class before? They tell you all that in there.

its called a fire triangle.... source of combustion, combustible material and oygen for combustion...even if one side of the triangle is removed the reaction can be stopped and this is used in fire fighting
