It's barium sulphate, BaSO4. It's used because barium is dense, so it shows up as a shadow on X-rays, and because barium sulphate is insoluble and non-reactive it goes straight through you without being absorbed. Soluble barium compounds are poisonous.

It is Barium Sulfate.
It is not magic but It gives contrast for xrays. otherwise it will be almost transparent.

should be barium meals. patient take it before going for x-ray or something
