I married a poor boy. We married so young and even though we both had nothing in terms of money, great jobs etc, we had a whole lotta love. He's always been such a good person, with great ambition. We were as poor as dirt when he started his business years ago. Today we live quite differently, but I still clip coupons, shop for bargains and most always buy things that are on sale. All of our past experiences and struggles have made us truly appreciate everything we have today and we would've never made it this far, had it not been for the love we have for each other...I know...cheesy!!! But, quite true.

I was married to a rich man and I never regret leaving him.
Yes I strongly believe in love and if they guys doen'st have mony I would still marry him. Although I am not a fool. There wouid have to be a plan of what to do. I am not willing to live in a box under the freeway. But insipte the fact that I once lived in what some might call a mansion...I would definatly live in an apartment with a man if there was genuine love.

I have to give a comment to this question because I am a man. First off the defination of poor is really a state of mind. I believe you should think on your question and think about the income level this man has is all. Money or love?

It would depend if the poor man was a hard worker and a loving man. I would marry a man like that if he was not lazy.

That totally depends on the woman. My best Friend and have both done this. we both believe that being poor and happy is better than being rich and unhappy. so far we are both a little stress, but extremely blessed with happiness.

No.

I might marry a poor woman for love, but not a poor man.

Definately if he was the right one. I've loved a man that couldn't support me and it was great and I've also turned down 2 marriage proposals from men that I would've been set up financially for life because they weren't the right ones.

I did, and the years have been really difficult, but I would not change a thing. We're going 17 years strong married.

I would marry for love before I marry for money if it's what your asking.!? I dont think money should have anything to do with being in love, money is a temporary thing we all need ..yes to survive but not to love. True love is not somthing you can find at walmar, or e-bay, or wherever. Its somthing you can only grow in your heart for somone special..That's what I THINK!!
