Social Security numbers were to help the government keep track od a retirement fund into which we contributed funds. The idea was if you invest then you recieve upon retirement. But now the government has allowed this number to track our every move. Without it you are not a citizen much in the manner Russia operated. How do you feel about this America I want to kow!

It's all very well to go on about privacy. But do you want to be rid of ILLEGAL ALIENS and TERRORISTS for good?
The ONLY WAY is to give up some of your privacy, and to get in exchange security and safety for your family.
You need positive, forge-proof ID. You need on-line verification capability for all police. You need CCTV all over.
And unlike the commies and socialists you need UNCORRUPTIBILITY of police and judges and civil servants. You need a justice system so reliable and so effective that recidivism drops to near zero. (Near zero because the prisons are filled with the insane, too and you can't count on them responding to reason.)

i guess i never really thought of it that way. but i don't like that everyone or everything needs your ssn. i don't feel the least bit safe knowing anyone has access to that, just because it is used for everything. i recently was doing a search on a man who is deceased for a friend and, among other things i found there was his ssn right in front of me...i was a bit shocked at that even though the man is no longer alive.

The law states that it's against the law to use Soc Sec numbers as ID. Yet that's what we do as a matter of fact like, "Oh, you want my Soc Sec number?" Are you related in any way to the Nazi SS? Oh, you're not? Then *you* must be a *red* *blooded* *American*, and I'll gladly give my SS# to you!
