low self esteem is nothing but the enemy , the devil itself coming at you . how many mirrors do you have ? take a good look at yourself , if there is something about yourself you don't like chainge it if you feel like that all the time , ask yourself what is it I really need ? little by little start changing it . it's ok to do that . Loving yourself fist is yhe best thing in the world to do. it's also ok to cry , wipe your eyes and begin your task , don't forget to pray.
God listens and answers .

Hi,
I was an introvert and a very shy person till a few years back. I used to feel that everyone finds me to be an outcast. I did nothing special to spring into the forefront of social circles and activities, but, i can tell u a few things which should help you: -
Dnt try to copy anyone for their mannerisms/ attire etc. Do your own thing.
Try speaking while standing in front of the mirror. Pretend u r discussing with a group of friends on some contemporary topic..U need to feel good about urself first, b4 expecting others to do so.
Remember- everyone has some wekness or the other. And, strengths are also there. So, discover what ur strength is. Say it is painting. Try to make conversations about your areas of strngth with your peer group.
Keep well-read and be well-informed abt what's gng on in the world. It'll automatically boost ur confidence.
All the best!!

First please don't allow the present situation to deteriorate. Ensure that. Take the following steps, which my Mentor suggested to me long back:- Quote: One can either gain confidence or lose confidence. One should, therefore, know how to fine-tune the mind accordingly. Self-confidence cannot be gained without physical self-discipline and mental control. Besides that, one should know how to nurture very healthy, noble and constructive thoughts, habits and traits. Also one should build strong moral behaviors. These are the basic requirements to build self-confidence. Then one should only see the brighter side of future. I mean one should not look back about the darker side of the shadow. Avoid darker side of viewing things. Be positive in attitude with a noble vision. Besides, one should not entertain unnecessary confusion, doubt or fear in his mind. The mind should not be disturbed or polluted because of impurities. Moreover, he should lead a righteous life or principled life or qualitative life. Periodically impurities should be flushed out from the mind. Then only mind will be able to generate ideal thoughts, ideas and feelings. Thoughts, words and deeds should match with each other. I mean it should be homogeneous. Thus one should never adopt doubt standards. Double standards or split personally may sometime lead to destabilize the basic moral foundations in a man. Fully utilize your existing available time, knowledge, mental energy, experience, skill, maturity, intelligence, acumen, ingenuity and other resources only on some or the other right pursuits in future. Pl. analyzes everything and try to come out of this problem by some self-efforts. Unquote:

There are so many expectations that we feel we need to live up to, but most of them are the ones we place on ourselves. Don't forget that feeling good about yourself is a lifelong process. All of us have days or spurts where we feel like we're just not enough. Stop being so hard on yourself.
Think of the top 3 things you do well and be proud of yourself for them. Then think of the top 3 things you'd like to improve on and improve on them (use sources like libraries and the net for info and help). In no time you'll have 6 things you can feel good about.
Then pick just one new thing to learn, and you can add another to the list and also feel that you've grown, and accomplished something.

Modern generation?? You mean kids....right? All teens go through this. Confidence comes naturally as you grow up.{for most, anyway}. You can build your confidence now, by doing things that make YOU proud of yourself! Don't worry about the opinion of others. There will always be someone that tries to bring you down...Believe in yourself.

The easiest way is to think of all the good things that you have done in your life, then you will realize that you have actually done quite well and that in reality everyone else is also lacking in confidence. With this in mind, you can build character for yourself. Always stand by your principals and beliefs and be proud of who you are.

Quit looking in the mirror, jumping on the scale, dieting and looking at fashion magazines. Don't judge yourself by how others see you or how you see others. Be yourself...be the best self that you can be.
