When you're short and pants that are the correct length are impossible to find - do you hem them, roll them, fold them up?
I'd like to know the answer to this and in general how to find out what is "in"

Also, what about hair styles? are there any virtual makeovers online that are free?

I have the same problem with pants and I get them hemmed. I they are jeans, sometimes they look cute cuffed up. And there is know real way you'll ever be able to keep up with fashion trends. I mean you have to have your own style and not totally get caught up in what everyone else is wearing.

Its pretty much considered a fashion don't to Roll or cuff your pant legs, My advice is invest money in some nice high quality pants ( a pair in all the basic colors) and have them altered. If the pants are a nice classic color, fit and are high quality they will last you years and you wont need to worry over finding pants that fit all the time.

buy some jeans that are 95 to 100% cotton, and make sure they arent pre-shrunk. wash them b4 u wear 'em, and they'll shrink in length. Or just buy the jeans that fit u best even if they are long, cuz at my school, long jeans are"in".
to find out wats "in" notice watr other people r wearing: thats usually a good clue. Or, go to abercrombie and fitch, hollister, and aeropostale

Check it out. They offer "in" styles. Lots of students from NYU love their trends.
