Very much so. I have had the experience plenty of times. Our deepest held beliefs and the thoughts we think habitually, are what create our realities - though ALL thoughts we think create at some level.
Most people think that our beliefs are a result of our experiences, but the opposite is how it works. Thoughts/beliefs create our experiences, which create our realities, and these then lead to more beliefs, which lead to more realities and so on. It is like a cycle, though the quality of that cycle will depend on the 'root thoughts' that you think. Negative ones will create vicious cycles, positive ones logically lead to virtuous cycles. Examine the deepest held beliefs you have. Do they match up with the realities you are experiencing? If you don't like the experiences you are having, change the beliefs which are creating them, and see what happens.
You think maybe a hundred thousand thoughts a day. They are a very light form of energy. The words you speak and write are denser energy, and the deeds/actions you do are denser still. All of which create at some level or another. The energy you send out in these ways, goes out into the Universe, and returns to you sometime later as your reality. However long it takes depends on what your thoughts actually are. Often, these energies come back stronger than the ones you have sent out. This is what alters the situations in your world around you.
Everything comes in to being this way. I can't be entirely sure, but I think that groups of people thinking and creating together with similar energies, will also create a kind of mass consciousness. Communities and nations for instance, often create what they are thinking about collectively. I have seen other posts on this site about MASS CONSCIOUSNESS. Type the words into the search engine and see what it comes up with. This could be how world events come to manifest.
Desires and fears are also part of this, and have creative power, as they are comprised of thoughts, words and deeds. If you are afraid of something, or worried about an event in the future, train your mind to think about the POSITIVE OPPOSITE happening in your life. This way, you will create just that and not the situation you fear.
Similarly, if you have a desire, think about it manifesting. Think in thoughts, but also in mental PICTURES as these too are thoughts, and have very potent creative powers. Think about this often, and the subconscious mind, along with the Universe, will bring you situations and all kinds of (material) help to bring your desire to pass (just make sure that it's apositive desire, and not one involving harm to people, or other kinds of negativity). This is synchronicity in action, and can be summed up by the phrase
" When you build, then 'they' come "
By 'build' it is meant create by using your thoughts, words and deeds. By 'they' it is meant, all the powers of the Universe, swinging in to action to help you manifest your desire. Try it, it works. Numerous times, I have turned round some negative spells in my life, by consciously thinking new and positive thoughts.
Pick a generalised positive belief, and begin repeating it to yourself. Do this often and do this daily. To be imprinted fully and have a lasting effect, a belief needs to be repeated for about 100 days. Repetition is the agent of success, and the more a belief is imprinted on your mind, and sent out into the Universe, the more your realities will manifest. Keep on doing this, and you will begin to notice positive changes happening. Small and gradual at first, but they soon get stronger. Positive thinking has a 'momentum effect' and small positive changes indicate much greater positive changes to come...if you keep on thinking positively.
Try this and see what happens in YOUR life. 'Broadcast' a positive thought, and see exactly who picks up on your new energies. I'm not sure if the power of creative energies will be stronger on Tuesday, but why not try it and see what happens? Begin thinking a new thought today (Saturday) continue during Sunday and Monday, and go full pelt on Tuesday. Then carry on after that for 100 days.

Presence always preceeds present, present for humans requires presence.
If we weren't able to think our actions would randomly fulfill our desires. The amount of manipulation is always a measure of thought or thoughtfulness. Sentient beings such as ourselves always think before they take action. A lot of our action however is automated or works by reflex as it is properly called. Which also means that a lot of our thoughts are somewhat veiled as in being either a reflex or a deeper reflection.
On the other hand it is a bit of BS that our thinking peaks on specific days. This differs from person to person and from moment to moment generally. It is a nonsense paired with a common sense and it such cases the nonsense leaves an obvious stain. The common sense is that our actions are always a consequence of our thoughts. Which doesn't mean that because we can think we are always able to have great effect on our surroundings, but most people master this better along the way. All of humanity has after all managed to improve our direct surroundings much to our own convenience over time.
Hope this makes more sense than the peak of Oct. 17th!

Watch the money. It will go from your hands into the hands of those who say that there is an arcane truth that you can create your own reality. Oh, they are creating their own reality of course, providing they can get enough gullibles to swallow the hook and make them rich. What amazes me is that people actually accept this con because it has a modicum of truth, barely. We can affect subjective experience, but we cannot change objective reality. We have freedom of choice. Choices have consequences. Bad choices have bad consequences. Making better choices gives us better consequences. A bad choice can land you in jail. A good choice can land you a great job. So in that sense you can create your own subjective experience. However, objectively there are certain realities that are true. They don't change. It is the way things are. Reality is what it is. Those who claim there is no objective reality run into a significant problem. Oh, by the way, this philosophy is just another spin of Shamanism, Think and Grow Rich, Psycho Cybernetics, mind over matter. If I can change reality by thinking, and I want a clear beautiful day for my golfing weekend, but you want a downpour for your garden, whose reality is going to prevail? So the whole notion is ridiculous. Some of these weirdos actually realize the truth of this and now declare that they alone create reality, as if only one person makes more sense. This creates another significant problem. Everyone argues that they are the real creators. I am; no, I am; no way, I am, No you're not; yes, no...
However, a word of caution. Mind over matter is a concept from the occult. It is a doorway to the occult. It is, stripping the window dressing, nothing more or less than witchcraft. Objective reality is simply the way things are. Objective reality is not limited to what we can sense with our senses. Objective reality is what IS, in both the physical world and the spiritual world. The reality in the spiritual world is something not for the faint hearted. In that world there are some very wicked, mean and scary spirits who can trick and beguile you. It is a very dangerous world for a man to play in. He will get his head handed to him in a nut basket. Never forget this: objective reality always makes sense. That does not mean we always understand it, but once understanding comes, it does make sense. Never, ever fall for this garbage that our rational minds are hindrances to some arcane world. Our rational mind is the referee in the physical and spiritual worlds. There is a lot of false out there. Keep your mind firmly on objective reality -- the way things really are so you don't get hoodwinked by the false.
I recommend the following book, "How to Think About Weird Things -- Critical Thinking for a new Age" by Theodore Schick and Lewis Vaughn.

While I was waiting for this Question to load and before I saw your username and your 'Additional Information' under your question I already knew what my answer was going to be: yes, for people who have mental health problems But okay, I've got something else. I have a question for you: why did you envison helping an old lady across the road? (it's such a cliché) [okay, I have another question too: how long did you stand at the road waiting for an old lady to cross it?] "Worse case scenario" - I hate that phrase! Don't people believe in realism any more?! I can guarantee that it wasn't the 'worse' thing that could have happened to you (even though I don't know what happened) I have a mantra. It makes me realise that even although I didn't get the job I applied for; or that the person I like doesn't like me; or that it's christmas in 6 weeks and I haven't bought any presents yet (wow, talk about an anti-climax...) THINGS COULD BE WORSE (like, really worse, worse than whatever happened to you) So no matter how 'bad' you think your life is, just remember: "At least you're not being eaten by a bear". I have another mantra (okay, I have loads which sort of ruins the use of the word) that I once read in a book: "If you trust in yourself and follow your star and believe in your dreams you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and not being so lazy." Maybe this is what you should do? Go and DO things insted of hoping for them. I bet you try to "mould and shape your reality" every day and would you like to tell me how many times it actually worked? 'Cause so far, you've only got one point. If you want to help old ladies across the road or rescue kittens from trees or what ever floats your boat then decide what you want to do (this should take acout 3 seconds) and GO DO IT! And if the kitten you rescue isn't stuck in the same type of tree that you imagined or that it's fur isn't the same colour the ask yourself "DOES IT REALLY MATTER" (yes, another one of my mantras, but who's counting?) Note to reader: don't limit this process to rescuing cats and old ladies try it out on less trivial things

Yeah i guess so. I mean with a positive out look things in the world appear positive even some of the bad things you can find a way to interpret it in an enlightening way.
Just like when you touch the water and there is a ripple. The same goes for vibes of human emotion it can and will alter the world. Some ripples call a bird to drink and some sink a ship.

From all of the knowledge we have gained, this seems to true.
Electrons are not little round things. They are an energy vapor spinning around and enclosing a nucleus. If you removed all of the space between nuclei and their electrons, people would not be visible to the naked eye, the earth would be the size of a copper BB, the sun the size of a green pea, and a large portion of what existed would be just energy vapor but the vapor would be just as it is now. The vast majority of what you see doesn't exist.
The vapor molds all things using emptiness as its clay. Thoughts are vapor. Vapor causes action. Somehow, you are allowed to control your energy vapor with your thoughts which are comprised of vapor when the vapor in all other living things only reacts to stimuli. You can choose to hold your hand in the fire even though your vapor knows that it will burn you. No other living thing can. You choose to suffer when all other things only suffer.
Reality is what you create.

Absolutely! Rent or buy the film, "What The Bleep Do We Know?" It opens your mind to many possibilities. We all create our own reality, and our actions affect the world. More than we probably realize.
"The Power of Intention" is a great book on this topic also. It's slightly different than the "Bleep" movie, but the same general concept of quantum physics. Check it out!

Well, Reality is basically agreed upon consideration. We are born
with having some realities of our own, modified by the degree of influence on the part of our environ. Unless we take that into account, we grow up with some forged reality and suppose to having our reality. This world on Earth is being constantly creat ed and eroded by our realities, but, yes, a strong and effective reality can alter it-to better or worse.
Emotion, the wave-length of affinity, can do the whole job, for it creates realities at will. All happenings hitherto, have their source at emotion.-

Well I think that the things you stated do have energy to alter the situations and people you encounter in your own life, but not the world.

The world has never been changed by thoughts, only by actions. Thoughts can catalyze and enable action, but if they remain in your head unacted upon, then they are nothing more than electrical potentials and neurotransmitters zipping from one neuron to another.
That email you got was hokum. That will be obvious to you on Oct. 18th, but stick with rational thinking and it will be obvious to you now.
Wishful thinking does not become reality without action.
