Parallel universes are common in science such as , The Mirror Universe in Star trek, the Farnsworth Parabox from futurama, and the alternate future in Back to the Future part II, but , could parallel universes exist and how would we ever know

They could exist, i suppose.
How would we know is a rather open question at this point in time. No one really knows.

when humans some billion are so years from now. go faster then light. in our ships are in some manner. this will open up many possibility's. there in the future we will have found out many things.,all things like that are possible.the real vast frontier is with in us. there is where all creation.is. revealed thru us thru soul travel.in the spirit.and with in the forces of the universe.

guess the things what you are mentioning is fiction..still it is possible that they exit..noone knows for sure yet
