I appeared to be, I had to hide My super powers so as not to alienate all the jocks and soshes who hated me for whatever lame reasons they had to hate.

Being able to do high level Calculus = "Loser"?...Hmmm? I see people in the public eye for example who are beautiful/handsome/socially savvy/very hot, sexy etc who ALSO were very into their academics in high school or college. Stunning actress Danica McKellar who's also posed for playboy says her "first love is Math" and is a brilliant Mathametician, who admits she reads Physics textbooks for fun! Actress and exotic beauty Angela Bassett won an acaedimic scholarship to Yale. Lickable hottie David Duchovny does more than just make cameos in my wet dreams (breathless sigh). He has an undergraduate degree from Princeton University AND a Masters in English Literature from Yale. Steve Martin, Sharon Stone and Jodie Foster all have genius level IQs and are Mensa members. I guess I'm just saying that the fact that you grasp high level academic concepts and/or probably posses a high IQ didn't make you a "loser". You mention that you have "many friends now". Maybe this means that your real question was: "I lacked social skills as a kid so, I didn't have any friends but I've fine tuned them now and have many friends. Was it the same for you?" My answer: I was a straight-A getting, academicaholic from grade one throught University. I was in Beta Club, on the Dean's list, etc but I had zero social skills and my only friends were animals. I started to develop social skills and some curvy, bouncy womanly attributes around age 17. I became a popular "It-girl" and later was voted Homecoming Queen. Every since I think I've found the balance that the people I listed above seem to have found. I don't have to be the "smart girl" OR the "hot girl". I can be both. I can be charastimatic and funny yet love academics. I can like wearing 5 inch ***-me heels and also like watching the science channel. Each part of me can coexist together.

Not really, if there are no losers, there can be no scope for any winners, so a balance has to be maintained, which is why it is not bad to be a loser, atleast they are contributing to nature's balance.
