if you want to move an Icon on your desktop, such as your recycling bin or your internet explorer icon (the big blue e) just lick your left mouse button ONE time and hold the button down and drag it around. :)
when you let go of the button, and the icon moves back to where you moved it from, right click on the desktop and mouse over the first thing on the list that says "arrange icons by" and then make sure "auto arrange" and "align to grid" do NOT have check marks next to them and then click and move the icon again, it should stay where ever you move it to. :)
to REMOVE an icon from the desktop, right click on it and select "delete" or "delete shortcut" a box will pop up asking you if you want to delete it select "yes" it will explain how to put it back on the desktop at a later time if you want to.
Hope this helps!

click your left mouse button. do not let go once you click it. then you drag it anywhere you want it to go and release the left mouse click.
I recommend you learn how to ask better questions.
