Something is good simply because it is good.

To answer the first part of your question, what is good can not be defined as that which god loves, because we have no way of ascertaining with any certainty just what it is god loves. Thus, we would have no way of telling whether something is good or not.

Regarding whether god loves something because it's good, again, we can't say that for sure because humans have no way of telling what's on god's mind. If god were to actually make these things unmistakably clear, we'd have only one religion in the world with no denominations. But since he doesn't, we have no idea as to whether god's love is constrained only to that which is good, or to all things/people. For example, does god love mass murderers? Some people would say that god loves all, others would say that god only loves that which is good. Still others would say that god doesn't love evil people right away, but does when & if they repent. It's all a matter of opinion though, as is the very question of god's existence.

Something being good IS God. The intrinsic value of the universe really represents God - goodness and God are probably artificial separations.

God loves it because it is good. Because if it is good because God loves it, how would you justify the word "good" if you were to take the Greek Gods into account?

There really is no such thing as good (or bad). Good and Bad are just judgements we place on things, circumstances. God doesnt love anything because God doesnt judge. God is the experience of pure love and bliss. Good and bad are just stepping stones to this state. Its only in non-judgement that we experience bliss

both, god loves what is good, for that is what god is, and that is what god use in you to change what is bad so that it can be used for good, yes evil things that are refined in the fire of the journey are used to teach, they are very powerfull tools in christ, for how can we truely heal the sick lest we have experience in sickness, so now we have forgiveness for great purpose, your flaws in life are the strength that you will use in christ, those flaws greatly appreciated by those inn christ, you are bringing a great tool to the table......so those who say how can god possibly forgive me, well there is your answer, he needs you, he wants, you may be the means by which to save many, because of the sin that you experienced, once you turn your ways you are then the great teacher in those ereas, and also you will learn so much more along the way................now you see why god loves every thing, why everything is good, and why we are not to hate what we do not like but to love to death, which that death is metaphoric, death of what is, and life to what it will become, .......come now you that are weak, do not fear acceptance because of what you have done..........this is real.....more real than anything else......open thy eyes and see what is before........

It's good because God loves it. Goodness comes from up above. You cannot gain it. You can only nourish and manifest it.

God loves everyone, but that doesn't make everyone good. Peoples sins are removed because they love Jesus and because Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross for us. God sees the people who love Jesus as Good.

as i understand your question, you are giving GOD human attributes. AS the sun is always shining,so to GODS UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, GOD IS LOVE."IT" shines equally on all things ,nothing can be hidden from it. There can be no question of loving one thing and not another.GOD can not with hold his love from anything. HE SEES ALL THINGS AS PERFECT,GOOD, he does not see duality as a human does.
