Do not wait for symptoms..get it checked out immediatly. Doctors can spot infections inside the vagina if checked out..instead of waiting for something to happen--such as vaginal discharge, odor, discoloration of fluids, fever, etc;-- You can get very sick from leaving items (especially a used condom) inside the vagina. Bacteria can start developing as well as infections. Let your doctor know what happend and why you would like to get a check up. Make sure that in the future after having sex you clean yourself out! Yes, sex is a wonderful thing..however it is not the most cleanest of activities to be doing..so no matter what..condom/no condom you should be showering after every sexual activity to make sure you maintain great hygeine in the area that matters most :)

You'll have to wait and see. If you have strange odour, or unusual drainage coming from your vagina, or even an unusual itch, you might have a vaginal infection, yeast or other. Check for any unusual sign and if any appear, call you Md. In the meantime, wash up with plain soap and water. This unfortunately happens occasionnaly, as embarrassing as it may be !

You may develop a infection. It may have started to grow bacteria. Monitor for fever, abdominal pain, vaginal discharge and odor. You may need to have a vaginal cream or oral antibiotics.

(Better look it up my dear... it's very serious - even deadly if not caught in time!)
