Baby on the way. I would like to find out more information, including cost.

Well from what I understand the only benefit is that if your child becomes sick they will have a better understanding of why and how to fix it. It is very expensive, although I don't remember the cost. My husband and I opted not to do it. Congrats and best of luck! ;)

From what I have read on the subject its a scam(going through a private company). If you would like to donate your newborns cord blood that's the way to go. They said that is your baby needs cord blood they can get it from a donor.

if you are in australia it is really hard to do - i wanted to do it and the public hospitals dont do it
